At the Jacksonville Public Library.

Applications for open positions are available at all library locations or you can click here for a printable version. Branches and departments of the Main Library interview and hire for the positions they have available. Please submit your application to the branch or department you would be most interested in being considered.

Applications for part-time positions are kept on file for three months.

Employees must be at least 16 years of age.

If you need any assistance in completing the application or have any questions, please contact the Library’s Human Resources Office at (904) 630-1287.

Please note: These are Non-Civil Service positions so employees are not eligible for Civil Service status, pension, or health insurance. Any questions regarding Civil Service positions should be directed to the Library’s Human Resources Office at (904) 630-1287.
